Nursery / Pre-School

Infants, toddlers and pre-school children are offered a safe and welcoming environment during Sunday worship. Our Movers & Shakers Pre-School program utilizes a child-friendly curriculum which includes bible lessons, songs and artwork.

Awesome Bible Adventures

Following the Children’s Circle Time in Sunday’s Worship Service, children in grades K-6 are dismissed to our Awesome Bible Adventures classes. This program blends Bible lessons into a variety of educational experiences; including drama, cooking, art, computers, and audio-visual programs.

'Tweens

Our fourth and fifth graders get together the third Sunday of each month following worship. We share devotions and play games, or go out for some fun. Permission slips are available online or in the church office.

CAAMP (Christian After-school Arts, Music, Performance)

Our Wednesday afternoon CAAMP Program offers a safe, nurturing, Christian environment, where children express their creativity through the arts.
The goal of CAAMP is to reach out to the children of this church and the community by offering opportunities for Christian and personal expression through art, music, and drama. Christ is the center of all our activities and the spiritual growth of children a priority. Activities include. . .

Vacation Bible School

Every summer, members and staff of First Presbyterian host an exciting, fun-filled week of educational activities at Vacation Bible School, typically held in June. Open to the community, this week of non-stop fun culminates with our annual “Blessing of the Animals”, held on the front lawn of the church.

Camps & Retreats

KIRKMONT, the local Presbyterian Camp & Conference Center hosts a variety of week-long summer camps & weekend retreats for children of all ages. Children explore nature’s wonders and explore God’s love in a variety of theme-based sessions.
