Sunday Morning Classes

Sunday morning's Adult Curch School offers a variety of moderators, formats, and topics. Our FORUM Class, held the first Sunday of the month, is an open discussion on current events affecting our hometown, our country, and the world. Exploration, led by Rev. Doty, meets the second and fourth Sundays, exploring a variety of Biblical topics, from predestination to prayer.

Sunday Evening Bible Study

This group meets off-site on Sunday evenings and provides an opportunity to explore a variety of subjects and discuss Bible teachings. 

Tuesday Morning Bible Study

Youth Room
A group of 25-35 members and friends of First Presbyterian meets each Tuesday morning from September to May for Bible Study. Our pastor leads the study, and the topics vary. In the recent past, we have studied the Gospel of Mark, the book of Romans, the wisdom literature in the Bible, and methods and principles for interpreting the Bible.

Pastor's Book Club

7:30 PM

Memorial Room
Six times each year, this group meets to discuss a book, chosen by our pastor or participant.  Selections vary greatly, from St. Augustine’s Confessions to the writings of C. S. Lewis and Thomas Merton; from the poetry of Anne Weemes to novels by John Steinbeck.  Everyone is welcome to attend and join the discussion, held on the fourth Thursday of the month, even if you haven’t read the book!

Women's Circle

Gathering Area
All women are welcome at this monthly meeting held on the third Wednesday of the month, to study various aspects of the Bible and enjoy a time of fellowship over lunch.
